Jalapeños are noted for their zesty hot flavour widely used in Mexican cuisine. The blunt-pointed, thick-walled fruits grow about 3" (7.5cm) long, and have a deep green colour maturing to red. Excellent for pickling, and for adding zest to salads and dips. Can be threaded on string and dried for a colourful ornament.
