These meaty carrots average 15 cm long and 2.5 cm thick with a juicy, sweet taste. A good choice for heavier soils. Seed tapes help you get strong, healthy plants with no thinning, double planting, or missed spots in the row.

How to Grow

Any good garden soil with full sun will grow carrots. A loose crumbly soil with good moisture holding capacity is best. Carrots are very cold hardy and can be started early outdoors when the first leaves of spring bulbs appear. Replant every 20-40 days during the growing season.
