Pre-Orders will be sent out as soon as the product arrives, likely in March-April.

This is a live starter plant in a pot. Shipping may be expensive as it requires extra padding for safe transport.

Rubus ursinus 'Chester' is a thornless blackberry grown for its prolific crop of delicious blackberries. Clusters of pinkish-white flowers give way to very large, jet black, firm, round and very sweet blackberries from mid to late summer. Excellent for fresh eating, jams, jellies, pies and blackberry wine. The canes are semi-erect, 3 to 5 feet long and are free-standing. Fruits are produced on second year canes called floricanes. Prune these canes back every fall during dormancy. Provide organically rich soil that is well drained with even moisture. Attracts bees and birds.
