Very early, very productive dry bean. Black Coco has a robust flavour and plump, black beans that cook down to a dark chocolate-brown colour. One of our favourite soup beans and no slouch in the refried bean department. Compact plants germinate well in cool soil and produce heavy yields of pods bearing 5-6 beans. Eat as a snap bean when young or allow pods to dry on the plant then shell out to eat right away or store for winter use.
